We Rebuilt Bodhi Bubbles From the Ground Up. Here's the Honest Story of Why

There's a particular kind of dissonance, or maybe it is delusion that comes with building a brand before you fully understand what you're building.

When I launched Bodhi Bubbles three years ago, I had the product right. I had spent months in my garage brewing up botanical blends, testing ratios, and adjusting extracts. I was being driven by something more personal than market research. I needed something that worked for me. Something that could do what alcohol used to do for me without the fog, the regret, and the slow unraveling that came with it.

I have always been averse to woo woo over-promising, and under-delivering. Ingredients promising anxiety and stress reduction, either left me tasting dirt, or feeling disconnected. Chasing that idea of “taking the edge off”. I needed something more. Something that could calm without sedating, to focus without overstimulation, and regulate, without numbing.

I found that combination in six adaptogens: Zembrin, Magtein, Lion's Mane, Damiana, Tulsi, and Gotu Kola. The combination wasn't arbitrary. Each one had been clinically studied. Each one had a specific mechanism. Together, they did something I hadn't expected: they addressed the nervous system at the root, not just the symptoms.

But the website? The website was a version of myself I'd already outgrown by the time I launched it. I had to get one up, but it had fallen to the wayside.

The Problem With the Previous Site

The original site did what most founder-built sites do: it described the product, listed the ingredients, and tried to communicate value through copy that split the difference between science and spirituality without fully committing to either.

It wasn't wrong. It was just incomplete.

Over time, I noticed a pattern in conversations with customers. They'd ask not just what was in the can but why it worked. They wanted to understand the background, the science. Like why Zembrin modulates the HPA axis differently than pharmaceuticals. They wanted to know what Magtein, magnesium L-threonate, actually does to the brain-blood barrier that regular magnesium can't. They were curious about Lion's Mane and neuroplasticity, about Tulsi and cortisol, about Gotu Kola's 3,000-year history in Ayurvedic medicine alongside the modern research that validated it.

These weren't fringe questions. They were exactly the questions I'd asked myself when I first started investigating these plants. And the old site didn't have answers, at least not the kind that respected the modern world we live in. It isn’t enough to say it has botanicals for mood, mind, and relaxed calm, we needed to explain the multi-faceted approach to nervous system support.

The Redesign Wasn't Just Aesthetic

When I decided to rebuild the site, I made a commitment: not just cosmetic fixes. If we were going to do this, we were going to do it right.

That meant three things.

First, the science had to be honest and deep. We built dedicated ingredient science pages for all six botanicals, this is not marketing language dressed up in technical terms, but actual explanations of mechanism, clinical evidence, and the specific role each ingredient plays in the formulation. If you want to understand exactly what you're drinking and why, the new site will tell you. With sources for clinical research on all 6 ingredients in our enlightening blend.

Second, the brand had to say what it is. Bodhi Bubbles is not a supplement. It's not a CBD product. It's not a wellness gimmick. It's a functional beverage designed for people who want to regulate their nervous system without compromising their consciousness. That's a specific thing, and the new site communicates it specifically well.

Third, the story had to catch up to the reality. Three years in, this brand has an actual history, a real origin, a real evolution, a real set of values that have been tested and sharpened by time. The new site reflects that. It's less apologetic, more grounded. It knows what Bodhi Bubbles really is.

What the Redesign Actually Changed

The most significant additions are the ingredient science pages. These go deep: the biochemistry, the clinical trials, the sourcing rationale, the synergistic logic behind combining these six compounds specifically. If you've ever wanted to send the research to a skeptical friend, or were curious yourself, this is the resource.

We also redesigned the product pages with a clearer design and architecture. This is a place where I'll be honest with you: part of this rebuild was about making it easier to become a subscriber. We believe in subscription not as a revenue trick but because the benefits of adaptogens are cumulative,  they work better over time, with consistency. The site now communicates that directly.

And throughout the site, the voice changed. Still personal, still grounded in the actual experience that built this company, but more the voice and message that I think will drive Bodhi Bubbles to be the next thing in functional beverages, crafted and well designed for your support.

Why Now?

I've been sitting with this question a lot lately, not just about the site, but about the company itself.

There's a version of this story where Bodhi Bubbles was the destination: build the brand, grow the subscribers, find an exit. But that was never the honest version. The honest version is that this company was always a vehicle, for understanding the nervous system, for healing my own relationship with substances, for building something that could genuinely help people who are stuck in the same patterns I was.

The new site is an expression of that clarity. It's the brand catching up to the intention that was always underneath it.

If you've been here since the garage days, thank you. If you're just finding us now, welcome. Either way, the new site is the most complete version of what we're trying to say and do.

We'd love for you to explore it.
